Jazz Jackrabbit wasn’t the first game I played, but the one I have good memories about (both the original and the sequel). I started playing games on 8/16-bit platforms like Commodore 64 and Amiga, so It was fascinating to see a PC game with the same roots and mood. I also like Jazz’s cameo in the game “One Must Fall: 2097”. In the early 90’s, multiplayer games just born on PC, causing countless hours of fun with a lan-party. I often brought my desktop PC to these parties card by card, using a cardboard PC-house :-)
The original track played on the credits screen of Jazz Jackrabbit 2. It is a good example of a classical “demoscene”-like game music. Dynamic basses, guitars, pads and bells - do we need anything else?
Here kitty, kitty! The synthwave genius returns with a whole new batch of hooky, metal-edged songs that are more fun than a ball of yarn. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 11, 2022
