I first saw Jazz Jackrabbit on a computer in primary school, and as I was a fan of platformers, it quickly became a big favorite. It was a very dynamic and fast-paced game compared to other such titles at the time. When the sequel was released, I was simply blown away by the outstanding graphics and the sound quality. I still play the game from time to time.
Out of the whole JJ universe, Tubelectric was my favorite level and soundtrack ever since the first game, and the “polished” remix version of the song in Jazz2 was just perfect. It was pure tracker-style electro mayhem. When I was asked to take part in the remix project, there was no doubt which level I will take my hands on. I tried to “synthwavify” the song as much as possible, without losing too much of the key elements of the original. I aimed for a driving party track full of energy, and I think it turned out quite well. BUST-A-MOVE!
Here kitty, kitty! The synthwave genius returns with a whole new batch of hooky, metal-edged songs that are more fun than a ball of yarn. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 11, 2022
